The TIME programme is an information resource for people with kidney disease endorsed by the National Kidney Federation and Anaemia Nurse Specialist Association, hosted by the British Renal Society.
It has been developed by healthcare professionals and patient representatives to promote a greater understanding about kidney disease and provide tips and guidance to improve the experience of patients with kidney disease. It promotes self care and provides support materials to assist with the implementation of the three available programme modules:
There are posters, flashcards, top ten tips downloadable from the website and accessories available to help you run these programmes in your unit. Documents are only available as downloadable pdf's, please click your module choice on the top left hand side list. To order accessories/gadgets on the downloadable order form, that are not downloadable, contact the BRS Secretariat: brs@britishrenal.org Introduce one module at a time to encourage full participation. Determine the number of patients who will commit to the module you choose and send that information along with full delivery details. Identifying dedicated members of the renal team to support patients participating in any of the TIME modules is essential.
Choose the module which will best suit your patients.
