Sarah Springett launches new campaign
17/11/2009
Sarah Springett has launched a high profile campaign to raise awareness about organ donation using the music of her band “The Floe”. Sarah is a live kidney donor for her boyfriend Paul one year ago. He suffered from IgA Nephropathy, diagnosed 4 years earlier in 2004, and was on dialysis for 8 months prior to his transplant.
The Floe released a single on the 9th November 2009, called 'I Hope You Know'. They hope to encourage every person who downloads/buys the track to sign the NHS Organ Donor Register, if they haven't already done so. All profits are being donated to The Transplant Trust.
